Location Info

A 19th-century brick seacoast fort built to protect the entrance to San Francisco Bay, now preserved as a National Historic Site beneath the south end of the Golden Gate Bridge. Visitors can explore multi-level casemates, exhibits, and sweeping views of the bridge and bay, all free of charge during open hours.
